Max Cleland was the Democratic Senator from Georgia who was defeated by Saxby Chambliss in this past November's election. As you can see, Mr. Cleland wasn't having very good transits going into the election...he was having a LOOPED TRANSIT of Saturn square to his Neptune...in fact it had been exact for the second time just the day prior to the election.

In our books and on this website, we have taught that Neptune is one of the Financial Planets. Specifically, Neptune symbolizes long term financial and emotional security. Keep in mind that when we are looking at the transits to any incumbent candidate's chart that he or she is a Professional Politician..in other words, being a Senator was Max Cleland's job.

In the Interpretation Module of our software for financial transits, we write the following regarding this transit.

[SATURN SQUARE YOUR NEPTUNE]

$Turbulent Transit: $Making/R= -200. $Recognition/R= -195. POORHOUSE TRANSIT. HAILSTORM TRANSIT. More than any other transit, this is a sign that you could be in danger of losing a job or a source of income. Neptune is the primary ruler of financial security and Saturn is making a Turbulent Angle to your natal Neptune. It is imperative to plan ahead and protect yourself before this transit hits you. If you work as an employee, you can minimize the risks of losing your job by resolving all loose important issues about your job, including compensation, before this transit hits you. For example, if you are going to be up for a raise during this transit, make sure you get the issue resolved before this transit hits or after this transit passes. If you have a normal job, do not make waves before or during this transit and do not criticize your employers or co-workers. Do not look for a new job for at least six months before or any time during this transit. As you can see, we give a rating to each of the transits in our software...and the very worst transits are rated at being in the -200 range...so this is one of the very worst transits possible.

Keep in mind that as we have pointed out before, LOOPED TRANSITS, (which can occur only in the Geocentric Dimension) are far more important...which would mean that the above advice would be all the more important to heed. Whether fairly or not, Mr. Cleland was portrayed as having been involved with trying to stall the President's Homeland Security proposals...but had he known about these transits, perhaps he would have left that to some of his other Democratic peers to do, rather than becoming involved in 'making waves' himself.

But can only one transit indicate this...yes, if the transit is bad enough...and if it going to be as exact as Mr. Cleland's was. But if we look at his Heliocentric Chart, the picture becomes even more grim and obvious.

Notice that just as he was having the Looped Stressful and Turbulent transit to Neptune in the Geocentric Dimension, he had also come through a long transit of Saturn contra-latitude Venus and Neptune in his Heliocentric Chart...so Mr. Cleland was for much of the period leading up to the election having a TRANSDIMENSIONAL STRESSFUL AND TURBULENT TRANSIT FROM SATURN TO HIS NEPTUNE.

Further, in Heliocentric Latitude, Mr. Cleland's Venus Neptune parallel is most probably his FOCUS ASPECT. (In the manuals to our software, we include special lessons on Magi Astrology. Those who have purchased the Progressions module will be familiar with the concept of FOCUS ASPECTS and how important they can be.)

Also, in the period just prior to the election, Mr. Cleland had the Super Transit of Chiron opposed to his natal heliocentric Venus and Jupiter. ( If you will recall, as we have written in another article on this website, Demi Moore likewise had this 'heartbreak' transit when Bruce Willis decided to divorce her). Any turbulent transit from Chiron can literally turn your life 'topsy turvy'.

In addition, Venus in the Heliocentric sky was applying to square his natal Chiron. While not a powerful and long lasting transit, even this could be seen as a 'sign' that the trend was not in Mr. Cleland's favor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Chambliss's transits at the time of the election are as good, as Mr. Cleland's were disadvantageous. In the Geocentric Dimension notice that Transiting Chiron was forming a YOD with his Uranus and Pluto...Uranus and Pluto remember are the two 'political' planets...and since Chiron symbolizes Recognition, Public Reputation, and Charisma in all fields it qualifies as a 'political' planet as well. Chiron's transits to both qualifies as a Super Transit...and the YOD is a form of SYMMETRICAL PLANETARY GEOMETRY.

In Declination, Transiting Uranus and Pluto ( again, the two political planets) were both applying to contra-parallel Mr. Chambliss' Jupiter...The Transit of Pluto to one's Jupiter is the Super Success Transit...and the transit of Uranus to Jupiter is a Super Fame, Super Political Success transit.

Further, on the day of the elections, Venus was parallel to Chiron in the Declinational Sky...( which meant that this past election day was a day when Cinderella's could be 'born')...and both were parallel to Mr. Chambliss' Sun and Mercury. With Chiron transiting Mr. Chambliss' Sun, it was a clear sign that Mr. Chambliss would be seen in a positive, charismatic light.

In Heliocentric Dimension, Mr. Chambliss had even more favorable transits, especially for success in the field of Politics. Transiting Heliocentric Uranus was contra-latitude to Mr. Chambliss' natal Venus Jupiter FOCUS ASPECT...meaning that Mr. Chambliss was having a TRANSDIMENSIONAL positive transit of Uranus to his Jupiter...which is the definition of Success ( Jupiter) with the masses, in terms of popularity ( Uranus)..in other words in the field of politics.

If this were not enough, Mr. Chambliss also had Uranus trining his Venus in Helio Longitude peaking just prior to the election...and Jupiter applying to conjoin his Pluto...again, the Super Success transit indicating Success ( Jupiter) in Competitive Fields ( Pluto) like Big Politics.

The contrast between the trends that the two men were having couldn't be more stark when we apply the principles of Magi Astrology.
