Britney Spears got married to Jason Allen Alexander around 5 AM on January 3. The marriage was essentially over just hours after the ceremony when Spears told reporters it was all a joke. Spears filed for an annulment just 55 hours after the ceremony. Whether Spears meant to play a joke on the public or her groom, the public or someone else, is anyone's guess. But nobody else seems to have gotten the joke. The fact is that the joke is really on her because both People Magazine and US Magazine openly questioned whether Spears was "out of control" or "over the edge." And she can certainly no longer claim to be a role model for American teenagers, the way she has in the past.
There are probably a lot of problems that led to Britney's 55-hour marriage disaster. Part of Britney's problem arises from the fact she was married on an absolutely horrible astrological day. The Magi Society had correctly warned that January 3 (and January 4) was the worst day of the month to do just about anything.
In December of 2002, we launched the Magi Society's monthly Love & Money Calendar™ (previously called the LoveOracle™) that gives you our advice as to what are the best and worst days of each month to perform 12 important activities related to love or money. (If you have not yet looked at our Love & Money Calendar™, please click here to see what it is all about.) Since December of 2002, each month has had some days that were universally bad for a few of the 12 activities. But January 3 and 4 were highly unusual. Those days were such bad astrological days that we warned all our readers that those two days were the worst days of the month for just about everything (11 of 12 activities).
Britney Spears' 55-hour marriage of January 3 proves we were right.
We are pleased to have received many emails from users of the Love & Money Calendar™ letting us know how useful and accurate our advice has been. We will certainly continue to provide it on a monthly basis and will do our best to incorporate the helpful suggestions of our readers and members.
We do not have enough space here to explain why we choose the days we do. However, the principles we use are the same ones that we teach in our three books and in the manuals for our software, including the manuals for our advanced Professional Software. If you are a member, and would like to better understand Magi Astrology, you may do so most easily by participating in our conference calls with Certified Magi Astrologers - these calls act as tutorial sessions.
