STUDY ASSIGNMENT ONE

ELECTIONAL ASTROLOGY

 

 

We are going to have a change of pace.  Many of you have wanted to join Study Groups or Certification Teams and the Magi Society has written this lesson for all our members, but especially for those of you who have joined or will be joining Study Groups.

This lesson is a study assignment.  We are going to give you the dates of the 15 shortest marriages in Hollywood history, as published by US Magazine in their January 22, 2001 issue.  We ask that you analyze the charts of each of these failed marriages, and do whatever other astrological analysis you deem suitable and necessary to explain why these marriages led to divorce so quickly.

 

You may work alone or together as a member of a Study/Certification team if you choose to do so.  We suggest that all of you join a Study/Certification team since it gets you in touch with other members and you never know how much you can learn from each other.

 

You may email us a Word document with your analysis, if you like, and if you ask us to, we will grade your work and give you credit toward Certification. 

 

We will provide you with our analysis of these Marriage Charts, and other astrological criteria, at a later date.  For now, we are providing you with ample time to make your analysis.  In order to obtain the Magi Society's analysis of these marriages, you have to email us after at least two months from the time you read this and we will email you a special URL address that will contain our analysis.  This way, we are sort of pushing you to utilize Magi techniques and forcing you to learn.  Then when you read our analysis, it allows you to compare your work with ours and hopefully learn something - we would also be delighted if we learn something from you.

 

In order to qualify to receive access to our analysis at least two months from now, you must first now register with us.  You can register by clicking here and sending us an email giving us your full name, phone numbers and telling us you are registering for access to our analysis of the 15 shortest marriages in Hollywood history.  We will not send you access to our analysis until at least two months after you register with us by sending us an email.  (You guessed it - we are pushing you to apply the knowledge you now have.  You will learn a lot from utilizing Magi Astrology in this way.)

 

 

THE FIFTEEN SHORTEST MARRIAGES IN HOLLYWOOD HISTORY

 

Robin Givens married her tennis instructor, Svetozar Marinkovic on August 22, 1997 and separated the same day; Givens filed for divorce on Dec. 19 of that year.

 

Dennis Hopper and Michelle Phillips married on October 31, 1970 and divorced 8 days later.

 

Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman married Nov. 14, 1998.  Rodman sought an annulment nine days later.

 

Robert Evans and Catherine Oxenberg married July 12, 1998 just 4 days after they had met.  They announced they were seeking an annulment 12 days after the wedding.

 

Patty Duke wed rock promoter Michael Tell June 24, 1970.  She filed for divorce 13 days later.

 

Drew Barrymore married bar owner Jeremy Thomas Mar. 20, 1994 after a 6-week courtship and separated in four weeks on April 19.

 

Charlie Sheen exchanged vows with model Donna Peele on Sept. 3, 1995 but did not keep them.  They divorced November 19, 1996.

 

Shannen Doherty and Ashley Hamilton married on Sept. 24, 1993.  They separated in February of 1994 and Doherty filed for divorce April 7, 1994.

 

Janet Jackson and R & B singer James DeBarge eloped September 7, 1984 and annulled their marriage in March of 1985.

 

Christie Brinkley married millionaire realtor Richard Taubman on Dec. 22, 1994.  They split July 26, 1995 and Brinkley sued him for $2 million.

 

Jim Carrey and Lauren Holly became comedian and wife Sept. 23, 1996 and separated June 25, 1997.

 

Elizabeth Taylor married Richard Burton for a second time October 10, 1975.  Burton divorced her July 29, 1976.  Their first marriage occurred March 15, 1964 and they did not divorce for 10 years.

 

Helen Hunt married Hand Azaria July 17, 1999.  In August of the following year, they announced that they had already been separated for several months.

 

Marilyn Monroe married Joe DiMaggio January 14, 1954 and divorced October 27 of the same year.

 

Alyssa Milano and musician Cinjun Tate married January 1, 1999 and separated November 20 of that year.

 

In your study of these marriages, you should check out the Planetary Geometry of the Marriage Chart and the first progressions, the transits the couple had when they were married and their CACs.  We do not know the day any of these couples met except the ones we already included in the above information.  Part of your learning process is learning how to obtain the birth data.  Please do not email us with any questions about this assignment.
